Born in Faith, Built for the Future
Founded by George A. Holder in July 2020, amid the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, The Vibe Tech Café is a testament to faith, perseverance, and the favor of God. Originally envisioned as a hub for tech repairs, training, and laser engraving, the café quickly evolved into a vibrant event space thanks to the overwhelming interest and support of our community. Today, we continue to empower individuals with the tools and inspiration to become future entrepreneurs, leaders, and innovators.

A Story of Love, Legacy, and Innovation

 George A. Holder is a proud Navy veteran and a graduate of DeVry University, where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Technical Management with a concentration in Computer Science. While pursuing graduate courses toward an MBA in Technology Management at Walden University, George realized his true calling was to be a full-time entrepreneur, so he chose to take a different path and withdrew from the program. Continuing his commitment to personal growth and staying ahead in the tech industry, George has completed certification training in 2024 in Cloud Computing through IT Career Lab in downtown Chicago. With over 30 years of professional IT expertise, George’s journey has been deeply shaped by the influence of his mother, Eloise "Ella" Holder, a remarkably talented artist and entrepreneur. Watching her creativity and brilliance firsthand, George discovered his own God-given gift for interior design.

Inspired by his mother’s artistry and faith, George has dedicated his retirement to building The Vibe Tech Café—a one-of-a-kind space where technology and creativity converge, providing a platform for tech, innovation, collaboration, and inspiration.

The Vibe Tech Café is more than just a business; it’s a heartfelt tribute to the loved ones who shaped George’s journey. In honor of his mother Ella and his brother Vincent Holder, both of whom he lost in 2022, George had the privilege of hosting their memorial services at The Vibe Tech Café—turning a place of grief into a space of celebration, legacy, and love.

George also gives special thanks to his grandmother, Annie Bell Holder, his angel in heaven, who believed in his vision and provided the startup investment for Techone Guruz, his first computer consulting business in 1999. He fondly remembers his late aunt Eddie Mae Betts, who passed in 2021, as a mentor and a leader whose passion for directing youth ministry left a profound impact on his life. Together, this cherished group—his Angel Team—has been the foundation of his work, fueling his passion to serve others.

A Special Tribute

 I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to the incredible leaders, entrepreneurs, pastors, and mentors who have inspired me along my journey—many without even knowing it. A special tribute to T.D. Jakes, Touré Roberts, Sarah Jakes Roberts, Keion Henderson, Joel Osteen, Les Brown, and the late Dr. Myles Munroe, whose wisdom opened my eyes to the power of purpose and set me on a path of discovery. Their teachings—through audio, videos, and books on wisdom and leadership—have profoundly shaped my journey. I am also deeply grateful for the many other amazing authors and books that have guided and inspired me along the way. 

My sincere gratitude goes to Apostle Carl White Jr. and Victory Christian Assembly Church for giving me the opportunity to teach computer training and resume writing to ex-offenders, and for entrusting me with managing the office technology. You helped me discover my purpose and paved the way for what has become The Vibe Tech Café.

A heartfelt thank you to Apostle Daniel Wilson and The Valley Kingdom Ministry for the incredible opportunity to serve and teach computer classes in the Operation Jericho program in Harvey, IL. I’m also grateful for the chance to have my computer consulting company, TechOne Guruz, set up the office network in East Hazel Crest in the early 2000's. Your support and encouragement have been a true inspiration, motivating me to create a space where others can be empowered through technology and creativity.

 I also want to express my gratitude to my current pastor, Pastor Ray Bady. When God led me back to Valley Kingdom Ministry in late 2024, I didn’t fully understand why—but your teachings on "Maximizing" in 2024 and "Dominating in 2025" gave me the momentum I needed. Your words inspired me to design this website, showcase the incredible work God is doing at The Vibe Tech Café, and fully embrace the gifts I have to maximize my purpose. Thank you for your guidance, wisdom, and inspiration! 

Shoutout to Ashburn Lutheran School – Thank you for giving my consulting business, TechOne Guruz, the opportunity to transform the library into a state-of-the-art computer lab. I’m also grateful for the chance to teach computer tech to students from kindergarten through 8th grade back in 2007 & 2008 school year. It was an incredible experience, and I’m thankful for the trust and support you’ve shown me in shaping the future of these young learners.

To my family and friends—your unwavering support over the years has been a source of strength. Thank you for standing by me while I moved to the rhythm of God's plan, despite the many travels and twists in my journey. Your belief in me has been a blessing, and I’m grateful for every one of you.

A special shoutout to my favorite bank, Bank of Edra my sister (lol!), for always being there to provide the capital needed to keep this business running. Thank you for being a steadfast support to me and The Vibe Tech family.

 Above all, I give honor and thanks to God every day for the gifts and talents that have allowed this business to thrive. Before The Vibe Tech Café, I thought my purpose was set—I envisioned myself working a typical 9-5 as a computer programmer. But after graduating with my bachelor’s degree, life took an unexpected turn. Technology was rapidly changing, and suddenly, everything I’d invested in school seemed irrelevant. The only thing I had to show for it were student loans. I found myself living with family, taking on odd jobs, even with a degree in hand. It was a humbling experience.

In that moment, I had no choice but to trust God. Proverbs 3:5-6 became my guiding light: "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding." As I listened to God and followed His lead, I began to understand my true purpose. My personal motto became, “I’m going to turn my wilderness experience into my palace.” During the darkest and most challenging times, God provided the strength and sent the right people to uplift me. Every step of this journey has been by His grace, and I give all the glory to Him for bringing me to this extraordinary place called The Vibe Tech Café.

A heartfelt thank you to Pastor John Hannah, lead pastor of New Life Covenant Church Southeast Chicago, for being a guiding vessel of God’s wisdom in my life. During my time serving under your ministry in 2007 and 2008 before moving to Dallas, I was inspired by your vision to purchase properties around the church and build a mega church. Your passion ignited a desire in me to be part of that vision. I’ve learned so much about myself through your teachings, and your unwavering faith and dedication have deeply influenced my own journey. Your impact is immeasurable, and I am truly blessed by your example. Your words from Ephesians 3:20 have resonated in my life: “Now unto Him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us.” God has far exceeded my expectations in ways I could never have imagined. 2025 is truly a year of Manifestation!
